We Miss You so much Mom! RIP 05/17/42 - 05/15/05

Not only was my mother a victim of Early Onset Alzheimers Disease, but so was our entire family. This disease doesn't care who you are or where you come from, it just creates complete havoc on many people. I watched my mother suffer for 13 yrs until she passed away in my home with all of her family right next to her. I was a supporter of the Alzheimer's Memory Walk for many years, even pushing my mom in her wheel chair along the way, however, after her death I needed time to regroup. This is my first year back, as I now feel strong to become involved again. I feel even more empowered to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. All of the money raised will go towards educating and helping families in our area.

Currently more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and 78 million baby boomers are at risk – unless we find a way to change the course of the disease.

On behalf of the millions of Americans who are living with this disease, thank you for supporting my efforts. We're on the MOVE to end Alzheimer’s!
